Ferdinand Frog
Sits on a log
Blinking his eyes in the sun.
If I were a frog
I'd not sit on a log
'Cause swimming is much more fun.
I'd dive in the pool
Where the water is cool,
Jumping in with a splash---KERPLUNK!
Then, I'd go to fish school,
Use a snail for a stool,
And sing "Croaker-unk! Croaker-unk!"

Young Timothy Toad
Hopped into the road
While seeking his evening meal,
With a swish and a swerve,
Came a car 'round the curve,
And Timothy took to his heels!
Breathless with fright
From his headlong flight,
And the danger of those giant wheels,
Said Timothy Toad,
"I won't go near the road,
No matter how hungry I feel!"
Now he stays near the path
By the little bird bath,
Chasing flies, bugs, and beetles with zeal,
He can sit in the grass
And watch people pass
While eating his evening meal.

When I look into the mirror
All I ever see is me,
Standing right-side-up and proper,
Just as proper as can be.
If I turned the mirror over,
Would my feet be at the top?
And would my head be on the floor
Like a fusty, dusty mop?
