You must use your imagination with this little story. You must see the things that
Big Sister describes as she goes along. You make all the pictures in your mind.
Now pay attention! Ready? All right, begin!

"Mama says I have to entertain you today, Willy. What shall we do?"

"I know! It's such a nice day, let's go play in the garden."

"Come on, Willy. You know better than that! Bluebells don't ring, and I don't know who ate all the butter out of the Buttercups."

"No, I didn't hear the Dogwood bark, and I didn't hear the Pussywillows purr, either. Willy, you are just being silly!"

"What? No, Larkspurs don't sing and Cowslips don't moo. They couldn't even if they wanted to."

"Lobsters? I don't see any lobsters! Oh, you mean that Crabgrass over by the fence? Willy, you are being ever so silly!"

"Snakes? Willy, that's just a Snakeroot plant. It couldn't possibly hiss at you!"

"Yes, Willy. Tiger lilies have stripes, and sometimes spots, too. But they don't growl and prowl around the garden. You're making me nervous! Willy! Stop being silly!"

"Lions roaring? You heard lions roaring? Those are just Dandelions, Willy. Dandy...Lions? Well, I didn't hear anything. Not a thing. Just a silly Willy, that's what you are!"

"You say there's a dragon? Right behind us? Snorting fire with its mouth wide open? It's just a Snapdragon, a little flower, Willy, and you know it!"

"Willy, please stop being so silly."

"Willy?"

"Oh, my goodness!"

"Uhh, Willy? I think it's time we went back to the house."

"Hang on tight, Willy! I'm running as fast as I can! We're almost there!"

"See? It's just a garden and you are a silly Willy!"

The End
